【西表暴露試験場を再訪しました】

6月最後の週、沖縄県・西表島にある暴露試験場を再び訪問しました。
現在進めている試験は順調に進行しており、今後の市場展開に向けての手応えも感じています。詳細については、あらためて本ブログでもご報告いたしますので、どうぞご期待ください。

さて、今回の移動中、石垣空港から那覇空港へ向かう機上から、伊良部大橋の美しい姿を目にすることができました。
透き通る「宮古ブルー」の海に浮かぶ島々をつなぐその橋は、まさに“架け橋”の名にふさわしい光景です。

伊良部大橋の建設中には、現地見学に訪れたことがありました。橋のPC箱桁部にはエポキシ樹脂被覆鉄筋が採用され、地覆部にはステンレス鉄筋が用いられています。
実は現在、西表暴露試験場で暴露している供試体と同じ仕様です。これから得られるデータが、あの橋の耐久性と重なって見えて、非常に興味深く感じています。
